We are getting close, Just a handful of weeks before race day. Time to get all the preparations lined up to make sure your race is successful.

VOLUNTEERS: We are still in need of several key volunteers to support a few transitions. If you aren't running this year please consider volunteering or have your family members volunteer so they can become a part of the event too.   Register today!

FUNDRAISING: Now is the time to make the push on helping us increase the amount we can donate each year to our partner charities. We are again working with the Boys and Girls Clubs in Vermont and very hopeful all of you will take up the initiative to raise money. Van Rental: We are pleased to announce that Enterprise Rent-A-Car is our vehicle sponsor for 2016. Our exclusive rates are available from any Enterprise Rent-A-Car. All the details can be found on the Planning and Logistics page. As you login to the Enterprise website it will be preloaded with our discount rates and ready for your use.

Lodging: The Trapp Family Lodge is the official starting point of the race and an exquisite place to stay the night before the race. The Stowe/Waterbury area also has a number of team friendly options for lodging. If Trapp Family Lodge is booked, check as they have the inside track on lodging in the area. Okemo Mountainalso has great team options available at a discounted rate. Post Race Dinner: As a participant, your runner bib will serve as your meal ticket for the post race dinner. Meal tickets can be pre-purchased for those friends, family or drivers wanting to join in. Pre-purchase tickets are only available until 8/1/2016 after which we will have a limited number of meal tickets for purchase at the race.

Post Race Breakfast: Once again Okemo will be hosting a post race breakfast. In years past, this has been a great opportunity to re-group with runners as well as race directors to see pictures and relax with a hearty breakfast and a cup of coffee. Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time on Okemo's website.

Handbook: The 2016 Team Handbook is now ready for download. Be sure to print or save to your digital device so that you have it handy on race day.

Start Times: We will be planning on posting start times over the course of the next week. As mentioned before we need your full team registered along with an accurate 5-Mile pace to complete this.

Safety Gear: It is never too soon to be thinking about safety during the event, especially during the night legs. Registration packages cannot be picked up until each team's safety gear is checked so please be sure to bring it with you to the registration table when you arrive. Each team is required to have (2) safety vests (2) headlamps or flashlights and (2) rear facing flashing lights. Each team will have their safety gear checked at registration and won't be allowed to register without it. We have a limited supply of Flashers and Safety Vests available for purchase. If you purchase from us we will have them waiting for you at the start line.
