The Heart of Vermont Productions team is hard at work planning all the details for a smooth race day. Communications will start to flow to registered team members from this point forward. It is critical that you encourage your team members to register as soon as possible so they stay in the know and so we can calculate your team start time.

Lodging: The Trapp Family Lodge is the official starting point of the race and an exquisite place to stay the night before the race. The Stowe/Waterbury area also has a number of team friendly options for lodging. If Trapp Family Lodge is booked, check Gostowe.com as they have the inside track on lodging in the area. Please keep in mind there is a Car Show the same weekend as the race and lodging will fill quickly. Okemo Mountain also has great team options available at a discounted rate. Post Race Dinner: As a participant, your runner bib will serve as your meal ticket for the post race dinner. Meal tickets can be pre-purchased for those friends, family or drivers wanting to join in. Pre-purchase tickets are only available until 8/1/2016 after which we will have a limited number of meal tickets for purchase at the race.
Post Race Breakfast: Once again Okemo will be hosting a post race breakfast. In years past, this has been a great opportunity to re-group with runners as well as race directors to see pictures and relax with a hearty breakfast and a cup of coffee. Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time on Okemo's website.
Handbook: The 2017 Team Handbook is still in progress. We do not expect significant changes this year and the 2016 Team Handbook is a great guide for now. We are planning small changes to Leg#1 and Leg#2 as we look to adjust the start line slightly.
Safety Gear: It is never too soon to be thinking about safety during the event, especially during the night legs. Registration packages cannot be picked up until each team's safety gear is checked so please be sure to bring it with you to the registration table when you arrive. Each team is required to have (2) safety vests (2) headlamps or flashlights and (2) rear facing flashing lights. Each team will have their safety gear checked at registration and won't be allowed to register without it. We have a limited supply of Flashers and Safety Vests available for purchase. If you purchase from us we will have them waiting for you at the start line.
