COURSE CHANGES: This year we will be starting at the new Von Trapp Brewery and Bierhall instead of the Wedding Meadow. This will mean changes to both Legs#1 and #2 as well as the first transition. We expect mileage to be the same for Leg#1 and this will continue to be a trail run. Leg#2 will extend roughly .5 - .75 of a mile and will now have a small trail component. We are working hard to solidify these changes but they are still subject to change.
RACE DAY/NIGHT BEFORE REGISTRATION: Registration will be held at the new Von Trapp Brewery BierHall on Friday 8/12 from 4-7 PM. Teams may also register the morning of the event. We ask that teams arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the published start times in order to complete registration. Be sure to have all of your safety gear at registration or you will not be permitted to register and start the race.
KILLINGTON COSTUME LEG #14: Both the Killington Uphill (#14) and Killington Downhill (#15) have become the topic of legends. The Killington Uphill (#14) is now the official "costume leg" so dress to impress but be sure your costume is family friendly.
FUNDRAISING: Now is the time to make the push on helping us increase the amount we can donate each year to our partner charities. We are again working with the Boys and Girls Clubs in Vermont and very hopeful all of you will take up the initiative to raise money. Post Race Dinner: As a participant, your runner bib will serve as your meal ticket for the post race dinner. Meal tickets can be pre-purchased for those friends, family or drivers wanting to join in. Pre-purchase tickets are only available until 8/1/2016 after which we will have a limited number of meal tickets for purchase at the race.

Lodging: The Trapp Family Lodge is the official starting point of the race and an exquisite place to stay the night before the race. Post Race Breakfast: Once again Okemo will be hosting a post race breakfast. In years past, this has been a great opportunity to re-group with runners as well as race directors to see pictures and relax with a hearty breakfast and a cup of coffee. Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time on Okemo's website.
Handbook: Due to a few course changes on Legs #1 and #2 we are still finalizing the official 2017 handbook. Until finalized please review the 2016 Team Handbook.

Safety Gear: It is never too soon to be thinking about safety during the event, especially during the night legs. Registration packages cannot be picked up until each team's safety gear is checked so please be sure to bring it with you to the registration table when you arrive. Each team is required to have (2) safety vests (2) headlamps or flashlights and (2) rear facing flashing lights. Each team will have their safety gear checked at registration and won't be allowed to register without it. We have a limited supply of Flashers and Safety Vests available for purchase. If you purchase from us we will have them waiting for you at the start line.
