Just as PR's are made to be broken, so are some announcements and we couldn't be happier to break our last announcement.
Your enthusiasm for the event and disappointment with missing 2018, spurred up a conversation with some "Loco" friends in New Hampshire. After a just a few conversations we knew it was a great match.
With that, we would like to formally announce that Loco Races will be taking the baton for the next leg of the 100on100 Relay. Plans are already well underway to bring the event to fruition this August for the weekend of 8/18/2018.
Loco Running delivers tons of race experience throughout New England. They produce high quality events with loyal participants. They are keenly focused on ensuring their events are well organized, fun, and safe. In addition, they believe in giving back to the community, having contributed donating over $1 million to local non-profits, student and civic groups.
Please stay tuned as we make a formal announcement of the date and open registration in the coming weeks. It's time for you to check your calendars, block the date, text, chat, call or run to your teammates and lock them in for 2018
So what's next for the Heart of Vermont Productions team? We're not running off into sunset just yet as we will be working very closely with the Loco team to ensure a smooth transition. In fact, we hope to be running alongside you in a future event.
Thanks for all you bring to the 100on100 Relay community!

About Loco Running
Founded in 2006, Loco Races was created by runners committed to producing great running events in New England while also giving back to the local running community. Over the past decade, more than 200,000 happy participants have competed in our fun runs and competitive road races and, more importantly, we've contributed over $1 million to local nonprofits, running organizations and civic groups.
Some of Loco's races include: Smuttynose RockFest, Stowe 8-Miler, Will Run For Beer 5K and Harborside Half.
